Vivi Allen-Mitchell LPN

CEO/Managing Director

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for over 18 years, Vivi’s specialties include, but are not limited to, mental health-addictions and geriatric care. She worked in the Metropolitan New York/New Jersey area as an Addictions Nurse, where she was responsible for working closely with medical and psychiatric staff in providing a holistic plan of care for clients. Vivi also worked closely with mental health and addiction counselors and provided one on one and group education and therapy. Highly skilled in patient care and education, she also has several years of experience in Home Care Nursing for Med/Surg and Trach/Vent clients.

Vivi was a caretaker for her cousin Iman, who was born with Down’s Syndrome. Vivi’s love and admiration for Iman is her primary motivation for choosing to support the developmental disability community with TLC residential homes.

 

Saladin Shah

Assistant Director of Group Home Services

Saladin's career reflects over two decades of dedication in multiple fields, including supervision, education, recreation, special education, and case management. His extensive experience allows him to provide valuable support to individuals and families, focusing on creating tailored education plans for diverse learners. His passion for family empowerment extends beyond education, encompassing community-based recreation programs and vital resources. Through TLC Residential Homes, Saladin is committed to fostering the personal growth and well-being of both staff and families, while ensuring that individuals with disabilities can lead fulfilling, enriched lives. His mission is rooted in making a lasting, positive impact on the communities he serves.

 

Nastassia A. Waggoner

Program Administrator

Nastassia brings over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. She has worked in all levels of care including group homes, day programs, and nursing supported group homes. Nastassia is an Article 9 instructor and provides staff with the training and knowledge needed to encourage and support others toward independent, self-directed, healthy, and meaningful lives. As a former DES / DDD monitor, Nastassia has a strong background in group home compliance and DDD / DHS rules and regulations. Nastassia has the knowledge, compassion, and experience to support your loved one.
